A public tender has been announced by Slovenia's Ministry of Public Administration to procure mobile telephony and data services for a total of 205 subscribers, mainly ministries and other public institutions.

14 September has been set as the deadline for applications and the public opening of the bids will take place later during the same day.

The contract comprises of two lots, where in the first is for mobile services and the purchase of mobile devices, and the second is for data transmission services using the network of a mobile operator and the purchase of equipment for data transfer.

The existing contract with Telekom Slovenije is set for expiry in December.

EUR 1.3 million has been set as the total budget for the contract.
