Ireland : IRISH WATER eyes contractor for New Pumping Station

Irish Water has initiated the tender procedure for building of a new pumping station and different associated works.

Keen providers are being welcome to submit EoI (expression of interest) following which they will be given with the pre-qualification form.

The venture consists the expansion of the Lough Mask regional water supply plan to provide Castlerea and various further towns and villages in Counties Roscommon and Galway.

The initial stage is to provide treated water from a present facility reservoir in Ballyhaunis County Mayo onward to Garranlahan in County Roscommon and to Williamstown in County Galway.

The projected works consists the building of a new pumping station, few 21.5km of new pipework in roads and fields, a new service reservoir and associated mechanical, electrical and supportive works.

It is supposed that the venture will be executed under a design and build form of deal.
