According to Tieto, the Finnish State Treasury has selected it as the supplier for its case and document management system. The firm was selected following a tender process.

Under this contract, delivery is to take place early in 2016 and the agreement will be valid for a period of five years.

As per the contract, Tieto will be implementing Software Innovations Public 360 Degrees, a standardised product for case, document and archive management designed for public administration.

During this summer, Tieto purchased Software Innovation, a Nordic Enterprise Content Management (ECM) company.

The new technology will be used in all of the State Treasurys digital service processes in the future, mainly to support its digitisation goals.
