India : INDIANOIL awards INR 367-cr contract to PUNJ LLOYD

Engineering, procurement and construction company Punj Lloyd has secured INR 367-crore contract from IndianOil. The contract is for works at the Paradip Refinery in Odisha.

Mainly, as per the contract, the scope of work includes residual basic engineering, detailed engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of the Coker LPG treating unit along with offsite and utility facility.

Amit Gupta, President and Chief Executive Officer, Process at Punj Lloyd, said, This is our second order in Paradip Refinery. The first order being executed for IndianOil at Paradip comprised 12 process units on EPC basis, which is now in the final stages of completion.

Recently, Punj Lloyd secured an EPC contract at Haldia Refinery, West Bengal from IndianOil Corporation for the sulphur block.

Following the Paradip contract, the Punj Lloyd groups order backlog stands at INR 21,833 crore.
