Switzerland : Accenture Provides Business Process Services to Archroma
Publish Date : 23-Oct-2015
Accenture announced that it is providing Archroma, a global leader in specialty chemicals for the textile, paper and emulsions sectors, with a range of finance and accounting (F&A) and procurement business process services across the enterprise.
Accenture recently completed the first year of a seven-year agreement and is providing Archroma with F&A business process services such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger accounting and reporting, as well as sourcing and category management and procurement operations services. The project supports Archromas efforts to operate processes more efficiently and effectively while improving decision making and business outcomes through insights gained from automation and data analytics.
This engagement with Accenture is vital to the success of our new organization and enables us to focus on our core business to better serve our customers with a portfolio of world-class products, said Helmut Wagner, Chief Procurement Officer, Archroma. The project ensures that our internal support functions are operating in an optimized way with a focus on controlling expenditures while increasing efficiency and transparency across our enterprise.
Spun off from its parent company Clariant in April 2014, Archroma needed to quickly tap into additional F&A and procurement capabilities. Accenture was chosen based on its ability to rapidly deliver industrialized, scalable, and flexible services on a global basis. The work is being delivered through Accenture Delivery Center locations in Chennai, Prague, Buenos Aires and Dalian.
Accenture brings to bear a complementary mix of people with deep industry knowledge and technology expertise, which gives Archroma fast access to skills and infrastructure that can benefit a startup with global operations, said Ren Rohrer, Resources Lead, Switzerland, for Accenture. We are very excited to support Archroma in its transition to an independent company and into the future.
