United States : Parsons Wins Bahrain Gas Interchange Improvement Project

Parsons announced that it was recently awarded a traffic consultancy services contract for the improvement of the Bahrain Gas Interchange. Parsons services will include feasibility studies, detailed design, and tender evaluation.
The Bahrain Gas Interchange is located between the Salmabad Interchange and Isa Town Gate Interchange, along the Sheikh Salman Highway. The interchange is one of the major traffic bottlenecks in the Kingdom of Bahrain, requiring prompt remediation. The project includes the widening of the existing three-lane divided carriageway and a new grade-separated interchange.
The project is one of our customers priorities within their roads revamp strategic plan. Once completed, the interchange will improve traffic flow and reduce commute time issues, said Gary Adams, Parsons Middle East Africa (MEA) President.
