President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi sanctioned the set up of the bigegst complex for phosphate and compound fertilizers in Ain Sokhna to fulfill the requirements of local market and to export surplus production overseas.

Spokesman for the Presidency Alaa Yousef said this amid Sisis conference with head of the Armed Forces financial affairs authority, chairman of the National Service Projects, CEO of El Nasr Company for Intermediate Chemicals and representatives of firms that have been granted the tender of the venture.

The conference tackled all views of the venture, that will be operated by 3 of the worlds biggest firms by making use of Italian, Spanish and Chinese technology.

El Nasr Firm will oversee the complex, that comprise 9 units with an aggregate production limit of 1 million tons every year. The President mentioned on the significance of executing the venture at the least feasible expense, said Yousef.
