Tunisia : TUNISIA announces tender for three LTE licences

The Tunisian ministry of communications technology and the digital economy has announced a tender for three LTE licences.
According to the tender, the process is open to any mobile network operator with minimum five years of service in Tunisia or elsewhere.
Interested parties should obtain licensing documents, and will have until 1 February 2016 to submit their offers.
The administrative, technical and economic sections of the bids is scheduled for public opening on 1 February.
Qualifying bidders will be invited to attend a closed session where the financial part of the offer will be opened.
The ministry expects completion of the licensing process at the end of March 2016.
Currently, Tunisia has three mobile network operators, Tunisie Telecom, Orange Tunisia and Oordeoo Tunisia, and one MVNO, Lyca Mobile Tunisia.
