United Kingdom : FAIRWAY awards deal to Wood Group

Fairway Energy Partners, LLC (Fairway) has awarded a deal to Wood Group to offer engineering, design and procurement services for the Pierce Junction Crude Oil Storage facility to be constructed in the Pierce Junction salt dome in south Houston.
Fairway is being offered these services by Wood Group Mustang since they constructs the surface facilities that support the crude oil storage facility.
The projects initial stage has been created to allow for storage of three segregations of crude oil, for a total capacity of approximately 10 million barrels, in existing caverns at the site. Overall, Fairway has expansion rights up to a total of approximately 20 million barrels at Pierce Junction.
