The Independent Public Central Clinical Hospital in Warsaw selected the offer of mobile carrier Polkomtel for supply of telecommunications lines for the next 4 years.

The venture is of amount around PLN 1.135 million. The carrier will provide devices like telephones, faxes, switches and different components for serving leased telecommunications lines.

The framework will secure 2,500 subscriber numbers to be served through telephone lines or VoIP under the organization.

The management of the hospital evaluates 35,000 minutes of local calls, 7,300 minutes of transit calls and over 50,000 minutes to mobile networks every month.

In the tender there were 4 applicants, but just 2 offers were selected.

The remaining firm was DID, belonging to the group PSG (former TelePolska Holding), that placed a rate PLN 186,000 higher than Polkomtel.

Polkomtel's bid was 25% lesser than the expected rate.
