WorleyParsons has secured two major deals in Canada and Bahrain.
The Canadian deal, with an unnamed major exploration and production company, saw WorleyParsons presented a master engineering and procurement services deal planned to operate over five years.
The deal would offer a full range of consulting, engineering, procurement and project delivery services for the customers major projects and sustaining capital portfolio for their facilities around Canada, WP said.
In addition, a deal has been ratified by WorleyParsons with the Bahrain Petroleum Company (BPC), worth $120 million. It was presented the Project Management Contractor (PMC) contract for a program to develop the BPCs refinery configuration.
It is envisaged that the total refinery throughput will be 360,000 barrels per day; this will be achieved by integrating several new units into the existing refinery, WorleyParsons said.
As the PMC contractor, WorleyParsons will assist BAPCO to manage, monitor, and appraise the activities of the front end engineering design contractor, engineering, procurement, and construction contractors, and other contractors engaged to execute the work.
