Tradeshift, an international supplier collaboration platform, declared that it has been chosen by Zurich Insurance Group to assist optimize the insurers supplier-facing business processes by providing innovation, efficiency and expenditure reductions in its global accounts payable and procurement operations.
Tradeshifts network-based, procure-to-pay solution will assist Zurich improve and automate a number of processes in accounts payable, for example decreasing and replacing paper invoices with automated e-invoicing with workflow. The Tradeshift solution will facilitate Zurichs suppliers to easily upload invoices and manage their own data for improved accuracy. Moreover, Zurich will be one of the first customers to execute Tradeshift Buy, the all-in-one, integrated procurement solution.

Zurich intends to first execute Tradeshift in Europe and then later in the US. Zurich also has ambitious plans to expand the solution across its other regions.
