In order to prevent damage to the economic interests of the state, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk has instructed to carry out an internal investigation into possible improper performance of duties by officials of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources during organizing and conducting a tender for purchase of works on capital repair and reconstruction of lighting systems that are implemented in the framework of projects of target environmental investments. This is about the replacement of lighting by LED and the reconstruction of outdoor networks and street lighting with the replacement of existing lighting by devices based on LED-technology.
The Prime Minister gave the corresponding order to Head of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service Konstiantyn Vashchenko, Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov, Head of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine Yuriy Terentiev, Head of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine Roman Nasirov.
Arseniy Yatsenyuk instructed to submit conclusions and proposals of the audit until 25 January.
Recall that disclosure of offers made by participants of the tenders took place on December 19, 2015. On 30 December, 2015, the Prime Minister of Ukraine instructed to immediately investigate compliance with legal requirements during the implementation of the relevant tenders.
