North Yorkshire County Council is looking for bids for deals to roll-out civil engineering, planning and painting works.
The local officials is now seeking tenders for 3 new framework deals to start work all over the county.
The contacts will bolster the county councils ambitions to back apprentices, local skills and local supply chains and will engage working on painting, surfacing and civil engineering ventures.
Contractors will be hoped to focus to hire apprentices and graduates and providers will be needed to pay their sub-contractors under 30 days.
The innovative approach aims to support local growth, not just in terms of apprentices, but also the retention of personnel and developing the skills of the existing workforce, said County councillor Don Mackenzie.
