United States : City receives 3 bids for Alamodome deal worth $105 million
Publish Date : 22-Jan-2016
The city has gained 3 bid proposals for a pact worth $105 million to be the sole merchant of food and drinks at the Alamodome for the coming 15 years.
The new deal is scheduled part of a change at the Alamodome, that will soon start a $42 million refurbishment that will supplant its concession stands and double the width of its concourse, with different modifications.
The present contract-holder, Aramark Corp., has been the divisions sole concessions vendor since it started in 1993.
The Texas Attorney Generals office refused a request from the Express-News to see the proposals.
Authorities said 3 joint ventures presented bids, but refused to render names before City Council picks a proposal at its meeting.
