Publish Date : 19-Feb-2016

President Petro Poroshenko signed Law of Ukraine 922-V On Public Procurement adopted by the Parliament on December 25, 2015.

The law provides for the establishment of e-procurement system for all public procurements of goods and services priced at UAH 200,000 or above.

The law shall introduce the e-procurement system in two phases: starting from April 1 for the central executive authorities and customers operating in specific economic areas; starting from August 1 for the rest of customers.

The implementation of the given law will increase the degree of competition in public procurement and reduce the level of corruption.

Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Dmytro Shymkiv noted: This law scales up the pilot project of the ProZorro e-procurement system, which has already proved its efficiency and saved over half billion hryvnias in 2015.
