Canada : JEMTEC selected to provide offender monitoring services for Nova Scotia Department of Justice

The leading provider of integrated technology systems for community based corrections in Canada, JEMTEC Inc. ("JEMTEC" or the "Company") has been selected to provide offender monitoring services for the Nova Scotia Department of Justice, Correctional Services (Correctional Services).

This contract was awarded following a structured competitive procurement process which involved detailed technical and pricing considerations. The Contract includes GPS, Radio Frequency and Voice Verification services to start.

The initial contract comes with a three (3) year term with an option for two (2) additional two (2) year extensions selectable by Correctional Services for a possible seven (7) year term.

Depending upon Correctional Services internal budgeting, the awarded value of the contract for the initial 3-year period is $936,000.
