Egypt plans to procure radio and electronic equipment from Russia for its Navys mistral class helicopter carrier.
Significant progress has been made in negotiations between Russia and Egypt on the preparation and delivery of radio and electronic equipment for the carriers procured by Egypt following France refusal to deliver the carriers to Moscow.
Negotiations are in progress with Egypt regarding the delivery of radio-electronic equipment for the Mistral helicopter carriers.
Russia and Egypt had set consultations on the procurement and management of a $1 billion worth communication system and Ka-52K helicopters for Mistral-type warships in November 2015.
