Norway : Telekom Slovenije secures contract for construction of a motorway e-tolling system

Telekom Slovenije has won the contract for construction of a motorway e-tolling system for lorries in partnership with Norwegian company Q-Free.
The decision by Slovenian motorway operator Dars was expected, as Telekom Slovenije had forwarded the best bid worth EUR 99.99 million.
Other companies who participated in the tender were Iskratel and Slovakia's Skytoll with EUR 110.11 million bid; Cetis, Autostrado and Inzeniring Informatika with EUR 114.6 million bid; and Kapsch TrafficCom with EUR 114.96 million bid.
Project's implementation should be by the second half of 2017.
