United States : BOEING wins Navy P-8A contract modification

The Boeing Co., Seattle, has won a $9,062,408 modification to an earlier awarded fixed-price-incentive firm target contract (N00019-14-C-0067).
The contract is to exercise an option for the procurement of two A-Kits and two mechanisms in support of 16 full-rate production Lot III P-8A Multi-mission Maritime Aircraft.
As per the contract, 70 percent of the work is to be carried out in Dallas and 30 percent in Seattle. Completion of the work is expected in March 2018.
At time of award Fiscal 2016 aircraft procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $9,062,408 will be obligated, with none to expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
The contracting activity is The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland.
