Mexico : GACM launches global tender for runway, tunnels at Mexico City's new airport

The future operator of Mexico City's new international airport, GACM, has released a global tender for the construction of runway No. 2 and tunnels.
The Mexican state procurement portal, CompraNet says that a budget of around 2.47bn pesos (US$144mn) has been set for the work.
After it started the multibillion-dollar project in September 2014, Runway No. 2 is the first that GACM will build.
According to information on CompraNet, technical and economic proposals are due to be filed on 25th May and the winner will be declared on June 28.
It added that work would get underway on July 18 and take around 865 days.
