Engility Corp. will be supporting the Defense Threat Reduction Agency under a $247.9 million contract.
$42 million is the base value of the contract, however with options it would increase to $247.9 million.
As per the contract, Engility will be responsible for the provision of advisory and assistance services to DTRAs Research and Development Directorate.
Work will be carried out at Fort Belvoir, Va., Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M., and Eglin Air Force Base, Fla.
Completion of work is expected in April 2021 with options.
The Defense Department said, this contract was bid as a best-value procurement, but as Engility was the only bidder, DTRA had negotiations with them directly.
