United States : Aechelon Technology to work on F-35 simulation contract

Aechelon Technology, San Francisco, California, has won a $11,907,930 firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of 14 visual image generators supporting joint simulation environment for the F-35 Lightning II aircraft.
Under this contract, work is to be carried out in San Francisco, California, with completion expected in April 2017.
At time of award, Fiscal 2016 working capital (Navy) funds in the amount of $11,907,930 are being obligated, of which none will expire at the end of the fiscal year.
The contracting activity is the Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey.
