Norway : ConocoPhillips awards 5-year contract to Archer

ConocoPhillips has awarded a five-year contract to Archer to provide mechanical wireline services for the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
This contract was awarded following a competitive tender procedure for ConocoPhillips well intervention services in Norway.
Since 2009, Archer has offered wireline intervention and cased hole logging services for ConocoPhillips. Expiry of the existing contract was scheduled in January 2017.
The new contract which would begin on 1 May 2016, will be covering a period of five years until 30 April 2021.
Jan Vader, vice president of international wireline at Archer, said, We are extremely pleased with the confidence ConocoPhillips places in Archer by giving us the opportunity to continue to work for them for an additional five years.
