Tyler Technologies, Inc. today announced that Greenville County, South Carolina, has selected Tyler's Munis enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution to replace the county's legacy financial, human resources and procurement systems. The agreement includes software licenses, professional services, training and support.

Previously, the county managed critical business services with disparate solutions, including customized Web-based products and in-house developed systems. Greenville County's goal was to replace those systems with one integrated commercial ERP solution.

After a competitive review, Greenville County chose Munis to provide multiple county divisions, including finance, tax collection, human resources and procurement, with a unified system that has robust reporting capabilities and intuitive navigation.

The county will also benefit from Tyler's evergreen perpetual licensing approach that provides regular and significant, yet manageable, software enhancements without an additional relicensing or service fee, ensuring the county has continued access to evolving technology. Greenville County has more than 482,000 residents, making it South Carolina's most populous county.
