Mining firm FCF Minerals Corporation here has funded and implemented 30 infrastructure project in this town in a bid to help villagers improve their economic life.
The identification and prioritization of social infrastructure projects are jointly undertaken by the barangay council and the company, Craig Watkins, FCF Minerals Corp. country manager, said. He said barangay resolutions and other requests from the barangays are funded and implemented based on the companys Community Development Plan (CDP).
The companys infrastructure projects are the construction of Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction Management(BDRRM) building, dikes, bleachers for solar dryers at barangay Dumaliguia, rehabilitation of hanging bridge in barangay Malilibeg, road rehabilitation in barangay Busat, construction of hanging bridge at sitio compound, construction of basketball court at barangay Centro, concreting of the Lintungan approach, road reshaping at barangay Kinalabasa, rock armoring at brangay Centro, line canal, maintenance of irrigation system at barangay Dipilipig, road rehabilitation at barangay Dumaliguia, construction of breast feeding area, installation of water system at barangay hall compound, construction of 4 multi-purpose sheds and post harvest facility, concreting of road Juliana area, road Crossing at barangays Dipilipig and Lintungan, construction of K-12 workshop building, tire paths at barangays Kinalabasa and sitios BUsat and Atan, development of the Lintungan Falls and construction of foot paths at barangay Centro and Dipilipig.
