Pojazdy Szynowe PESA Bydgoszcz SA has been chosen by Kyivpastrans municipal enterprise to deliver 10 low-deck tram wagons to Kyiv city in 2016. The offer of PESA was accepted soon. Its expense is EUR 11.5 million (VAT not added).

Belarusian-Swiss CJSC Stadler Minsk that offered tram wagons for EUR 13.84 million likewise participated in the tender. Ukrainian manufacturers did not took part in the tender. Kyivpastrans confirmed a tender to purchase 10 low-deck tram carriages a year ago.

The bids were to be opened on February. The approximate expense of the carriages is UAH 287 million. Tatra-Pivden LLC filed a claim to Ukraine's Antimonopoly Committee against alleged discriminative terms of the tender.

Kyivpastrans revised the tender documents and considered to open the bids in beginning of March.
