Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Industries Company (Orpic) has signed a contract with Al Batina International Engineering and Services.
This contract is for warehouse facilities improvement at its premises in Sohar Industrial Port in Oman.
The huge deal is in accordance with Orpics commitment to support and develop Omani small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and as part of its strong commitment to maximise the in-country value (ICV).
According to Ibrahim Al Kalbani, Orpics manager of procurement, contracting and inventory (PCI), from all the received bids, Al Batina's bid was technically qualified and even offered the most competitive commercial bid.
