Publish Date : 16-Jun-2016

Egypt's Ministry of Communication and Information Technology has placed out to tender the provision and installation of network equipment and electronic security devices to the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA).

Opening of the bids will be on 19 June.

According to the ministry, the supply of over 1,300 devices, including Blu-ray media, laptops, LED screens, and fibre-optic networks, is expected to take place within twelve weeks of awarding the contract.

The evaluation depends upon the technical specifications of the equipment provided and the training that companies can offer to EFSA employees.

A minimum of 37.5 of 50 points is necessary for nomination.

The ministry will be considering nomination to companies obtaining 22.5 of 50 points depending upon previous experience, reputation on the local market, and quality of service.

Companies should score 15 out of 20 points in the quality of devices, while a total of 75 percent is the minimum for companies to be considered for any of the provisions.
