India : MEP JV receives Rs 586.96 cr NHAI contract

NHAI has declared infrastructure Major, MEP Infrastructure Developers as successful bidder for the project in the state of Gujarat.
According to the company, "The company in joint venture with Sanjose India Infrastructure & Construction has been declared as the successful bidder by NHAI (National Highways Authority of India) for four laning of Mahuva to Kagavadar of NH-8E in the state of Gujarat on hybrid annuity mode.
Starting from the appointment date, the construction period of the said project is of 2.5 years and the concession period is 15 years, excluding construction period.
The net present value of bid project cost and O&M bid is around Rs 586.96 crore.
After commercial operation date, the company will be receiving bi-annual annuity from NHAI.
