Launching of public procurement via the ProZorro public e-procurement system on August 1 will ensure the most efficient use and saving of public funds, stated the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman, opening a Governments meeting on Wednesday.
"Our current task is to ensure the full operation of the system on August 1, as well as the most effective use of all funds from the State budget. This will enable us to provide tens of billions of efficient use of money. And most importantly - what we save will remain in the state budget", said Volodymyr Groysman.
The Prime Minister has pointed out that the ProZorro system starts act "for all public procurement without exceptions and limitations" from 1 August. "On August 1, the system has to become fully operational across the country," emphasized the Prime Minister.
Volodymyr Groysman has highlighted that preliminary analysis of public procurement through the ProZorro system shows savings of public funds in the amount of 3-50%, as well as "the fact of abuses in the system of traditional procurement."
