A subsidiary of Azerbaijans state oil company SOCAR in Ukraine, SOCAR Energy Ukraine supplied almost 50 percent of diesel fuel to PJSC Ukrzaliznytsia within the agreement inked on the results of the tender.
According to the Ukrainian company, As of Aug. 8, 2016, the volume of the shipped diesel fuel by SOCAR was 8,380 tons, said the message. Thus, the agreement signed by the sides on Aug. 1, has been implemented by almost 50 percent.
Ukrzaliznytsia entered into a deal with SOCAR Energy Ukraine on the supply of diesel fuel with a total volume of 14,087 tons worth nearly around $10 million.
On Aug. 5, electronic tenders were announced, for the railways further provision with diesel fuel, for purchase of 8,000 tons and 10,986 tons of diesel fuel.
SOCAR exported 415,980 tons of diesel fuel in January-July 2016, as against 528,230 tons during the corresponding period of 2015.
The company is represented by SOCAR Energy Ukraine in the country and it even has 58 filling stations in Ukraine.
