Abu Dhabi-based National Marine Dredging Co. (NMDC) has won a contract worth US$316 million for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of a new LNG terminal in Gujarat, India.
This capital development programme features major dredging along with marine infrastructure works.
Additionally, NMDC will take up land reclamation operations, and will also be part of the construction of breakwaters, jetties and associated facilities.
The company will start equipment mobilisation to the working site in the post-monsoon 2016 period.
NMDC said, This project award marks a new milestone for NMDC in its strategic expansion plans to expand its operational footprint into Asia.
