United States : $151 million U.S. Navy F-35 contract modification for Pratt & Whitney

Pratt & Whitney Military Engines has won a $151 million U.S. Navy contract modification to carrying out work on the F-35 Lightning II.
The United Technologies Corp. subsidiary will be working on the cost-plus-incentive-fee, fixed-price-incentive fee contract.
This contract includes procurement of initial spare modules, engine system trainers, support equipment and depot activation services and supplies in support of the fighter jet.
The work is being carried out for the U.S. Marine Corps, Navy Air Force, international partners and foreign military sales customers.
Under this contract, work will be done in Connecticut and Indiana. Completion is expected by September 2019.
The contracting activity is Naval Air Systems Command.
