Iraq - Iraq buys 90,000 Tonnes US Rice in Tender

Iraq\'s state grain board has purchased about 90,000 tonnes of U.S.-origin rice in a tender which closed on Dec. 7 with bids valid to December 15, European traders said.
Price was said to be $611 a tonne c&f. There was also unconfirmed talk of a further purchase of 30,000 tonnes of rice from Pakistan at $530 fob. All would be for January to March 2010 shipment.
