Bangladesh,India,Thailand : KEC INTERNATIONAL wins Rs 1224cr worth of contracts across three business segments

The Mumbai-headquartered India's second biggest electric power transmission tower manufacturer KEC International Limited has been successful to secure Rs 1224 crores worth of new contracts covering three business segments of Transmission & Distribution, plus railways, and cable business.

KEC, one of the top global power transmission engineering, procurement & construction (EPC) players, has received new orders worth Rs 805crore for its Transmission & Distribution business space both in local as well as global markets. The global infrastructure EPC major has bagged orders in this segment in India, Thailand and Bangladesh. The company has won Rs 589 crore worth of order for its Transmission & Distribution business at home, while it has secured International T&D order worth Rs 216 crore in Thailand and Bangladesh.

KEC, for its railways business segment, has received orders worth Rs 248 crores. The company has won order worth Rs 110 crores from Rail Vikas Nigam Limited and Rs 138 crore order from Central Organization for Railway Electrification.

KEC has secured Rs 171 crore worth of deals for its cable business sector to deliver power cable and telecom cable.

The script of the company stood up 6% at Rs 142.90 during the opening of the market. There has been around 40% jump in the companys share prices during the last half-year period, with 52-week High/Low of the company standing at Rs 164.75/97.45.
