Norway-based Offshore Heavy Transport (OHT) has won a transportation services contract from Technip for Scotland's Hywind offshore wind farm.
The workscope requires to prepare the transportation manual including design, procurement and installation of grillage/sea fastenings and supports, as well as stability and ballasting procedures.
It will also implement the turnkey transit of 5 substructures from Spain to Norway.
OHT will use a semi-submersible heavy lift ship Eagle for the work. The first journey is slated for H1-2017.
