Norway : Statoil ASA awarded deal to Aker Solutions

Statoil ASA has awarded a deal to Aker Solutions to supply a compression module for the Troll Field in the North Sea to help boost output there.
The value of the deal is worth NOK 370 million and is an option in a FEED deal presented to Aker Solutions in January.
The scope is for engineering, procurement, construction and installation to promote the gas treatment capacity at Troll B to raise oil recovery.
The engineering work would be done by Aker Solutions in Bergen, Norway. Module construction is expected to be commenced at the company's yard in Egersund, Norway, in 2017.
The module would be supplied in the third quarter of 2018. The deal would be booked as part of Aker Solutions' third-quarter order intake.
