China - Hyundai Heavy to Win China Wind Power Order

South Korea\'s Hyundai Heavy Industries, the world\'s biggest shipbuilder, is set to close a 1 trillion won ($862.8 million) deal to sell 300 wind power generators to China\'s Huaneng Group, the Maeil Business Newspaper reported Tuesday.
The world\'s biggest shipbuilder was planning to supply 230 1.5 megawatt and 2.0 megawatt wind power generators to Huaneng late next year, after setting up a production line in China by October 2010, the report said.
Maeil said industry sources estimated the deal would reach over 1 trillion won ($862.8 million), making it the largest ever for the emerging South Korean wind power business.
