SMA Solar Technology AG has announced that it will be supplying 154 MW of inverters for solar projects of Turkish company Else Enerji under a new General Frame Agreement.

This contract is for central and string inverters for photovoltaic (PV) projects which would be realised within a year. Additional details of these projects were not revealed.

Earlier, the German solar inverter maker and the Turkish solar engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company have partnered on various projects.

According to Marko Werner, executive vice president sales EMEA at SMA, the company expects the Turkish market to continue to show high growth potential.

Till date, Else Enerji has worked on 160 MWp of projects.
