Norway : Norwegian Polar Institute selects Airlift for helicopter service contract in the Arctic

Airlift has been selected as a partner by the Norwegian Polar Institute for helicopter service in the Arctic.
This contract was awarded in competition with various other bidders.
Airlifts offer was considered as the most economical advantageous by the Norwegian Polar Institute. The tender assessment considered safety, technical qualifications, experience from Arctic operations and price.
The contract is scheduled to begin from January 2017 with total three year duration, with an option of one plus one year extension.
Further, the contract is subject to appeal period as per rules on public procurement.
