Australian energy-tech startup BidEnergy has announced its maiden US acquisition, taking over RealWinWin (RWW), a firm which secures rebates from utilities on behalf of customers through energy efficiency programmes.
ASX-listed BidEnergy has announced the deal after the company opened a new office in the US and appointed Phil Adams, a World Energy Efficiency board and former chief executive of World Energy, as CEO of its US operation.
An energy spend management platform, Bid, counts Flight Centre, Cotton On, General Electric, Fletcher Building and BroadSpectrum (formerly Transfield Services) among its Australian clients.
