Poland is to procure extended range Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missiles (JASSM-ER) worth PLN 940 million (EUR 213 million), said the Polish defence ministry's spokesman.
The spokesman Bartlomiej Misiewicz said, In recent days an agreement between representatives of Poland and the United States was signed, guaranteeing the supply to Poland of JASSM Extended Range missiles with a range of close to 1000 kilometres.
According to a statement from the US Department of Defence's Security Cooperation Agency, it agreed to the supply of 70 of the Lockheed Martin manufactured missiles, eight training missiles and a simulator.
