United States : KP Engineering enters into contract fixed price for design, procurement and installation of 200 million ft3/d cryogenic gas processing unit
Publish Date : 13-Feb-2017
A major energy industry engineering solutions, procurement and construction (EPC) firm, KP Engineering (KPE), has announced it has entered into a contract fixed price to design, procure and install a 200 million ft3/d (Cryo) cryogenic gas processing unit with compression for Targa Pipeline Mid-Continent WestTex LLC, an arm of Targa Resources Corp.
Capitalizing on in-house execution skills and process design expertise, Cryo, is the newest project on a list of successful projects as KPE continues to expand its footprint in the midstream industry.
The Targa project is among several key projects that KPE has achieved in the last 12 months, including the earlier announced crude/condensate separation unit project for Targa in Channelview, Texas.
KPE will provide full EPC services for the project, including the main processing unit, as well as a balanced distribution of items to the plant and related infrastructure.
The project would be completed in Q1-2018.
William E. Preston, president and chief operating officer of KP Engineering, said, "We are blessed to continue to achieve great projects, as well as this opportunity to execute another midstream project for Targa, one of our most valuable customers. We are flattered that they continue to recognise the value that KPE provides. "
