India: Two Months After State Nod, Civic Body Floats Tender
Publish Date : 14-Jan-2010
Though it has been almost two months since the state government gave its nod to the Pune Municipal Corporation to procure a Rs 276-crore loan, the civic administration has floated the tender just a few days ahead of civic chief Mahesh Zagade presenting the civic annual budget for 2010-’11.
Zagade will present the PMC budget for the year. And the civic body floated the tender. It has invited bids from nationalised banks. The period set for repayment of the loan is 12 years or more and the repayment would be done on the basis of monthly reducing balance.
