India : Indian government shows a green signal to 22 FDI proposals

The Indian government has shown a green signal to 22 proposals for Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) exceeding Rs.586 crore.
The proposals have been agreed with on the recommendations of the Foreign Investment Promotion Board.
The proposals include FDIs in the spheres of electronics and information technology, steel, health and family welfare, defence production, higher education, information and broadcasting and telecommunication.
