United Kingdom : Babcock selected as a preferred bidder for next generation of UK railway systems work

Babcock welcomes the announcement confirming that it, together with alliance partners Arcadis and Arup, has been selected as preferred bidder for the North Alliance (Scotland route) to deliver Network Rails track and rail systems work. This is subject to contract terms being finalised and agreed.
The North Alliance framework contract is worth up to 1 billion over a ten year period, from August 2019 to 2029, and is part of Network Rails rail systems programme which has an overall estimated value of 5 billion.
