Qatar : CAA, Matar Sign Contract to Operate, Manage HIA

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has signed a contract with the Qatari Company for Airports Operation and Management (Matar), yesterday, on the management, operation and maintenance of Hamad International Airport (HIA).
The contract was signed by CAA president Abdulla bin Nasser Turki Al Subaey and HE Akbar Al Baker of the Qatari Company (Matar).
Under the terms of the contract, the Qatari Company (Matar) granted the rights to operate and manage HIA and maintain its facilities under the direct supervision of the CAA, to ensure regular and continuous operation, and the interest of the public and benefit the users of the airport.
