XPO Logistics, a leading global provider of transport and logistics solutions, has been awarded a multi-year contract renewal by Carlsberg UK for supply chain logistics in the UK. XPO currently manages over 400 million litres of Carlsberg beer per year with an integrated logistics solution for brewery production, warehousing and distribution.

XPO operates three sites for Carlsberg UK in Northampton, receiving inbound raw materials and positioning them for the production lines; then moving the filled bottles, cans and kegs to storage areas where they undergo quality control before the packaged products are transferred to the distribution centre for onward delivery to Carlsberg UKs customer base.
