Qatar : MOTC Announced TASMU Smart Qatar Central Platform Development Tender

The Tender and Auction Committee at the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MOTC) has announced the launch of a new tender aimed at developing and operating Qatar Smart Central Platform (TASMU), which will be closed on the twelfth of next May. Copies of the Tender Documents can be obtained from the Ministry E-Tendering portal against a sum of QR 100,000. Payment shall be made through the same website; this amount is not refundable under any circumstances.
The effort of TASMU Smart Qatar Program focuses on harnessing the power technology and innovation to drive sustainable economic diversification while improving quality of life and enhancing the delivery of public services in Qatar across various top priority sectors. The realization of this effort is supported through a collaborative and thriving ICT ecosystem and global innovation network working together to co-create relevant technology solutions across the sectors.
Regarding the registration, the Tender and Auction Committee stated that all bidders should be listed in the Ministry approved vendors list before submitting the tender. For local companies, a copy of valid abstract of the Commercial Registration stating the authorized signatory and the related capacities should be submitted, together with a copy of the Classification Certificate from the Ministry of Finance Qatar/Government Procurement Regulations Department. As for the Off Shore Companies, a valid abstract of the companys Commercial register and the Memorandum of Association duly certified by the competent Diplomatic Authorities should be submitted.
